How To Apply for NTA UGC NET Exam Application 2026
Follow these simple steps to Apply for NTA UGC NET Examination 2026 :
Step 1: Apply for Online Registration using own Email ID and Mobile No.
Step 2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application Number.
Step 3: The candidate will have to upload his/her live photograph at the time of filling of the application form and will also have to upload scanned images of:
the recent photograph (file size 10Kb-200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background;
candidate’s signature (file size: 10kb-50kb) and Pwd/PwBD Disability Certificate/UDID with both side in same pdf (file size: 50kb-300kb). .
Step 4: Pay fee using SBI/ CANARA/ ICICI/ HDFC Bank/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI and keep proof of fee paid.
Eligibility Critirea For Examination :
Candidates who have passed or are appearing in a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks are eligible.
Those with a 4-year Bachelor’s degree are also eligible.
Student must be an Indian Citizen.
Student must not be above 30 Years Old.
Application fees:
For General : 1150/-
For OBC, EWS : 600/-
For SC/ST/PH : 325/-
Documents Required On Exam Day
Mandatory Documents (Originals):
Printed Admit Card (with clear photo)
Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN, Passport - any one)
Recent passport-size photographs (2 copies)
Not Allowed in Examination Hall:
Mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic devices
